Personal Consultation:

The consultation is free and I am very flexible in arranging appointments to fit into your busy schedule. I prefer to offer an invitation to my home to design the cake, this way I have all items on hand for any questions. However, I am prepared to travel to you but would have to charge travelling expenses according to the distance.

Timings:

It is preferable to have at least one months notice, and three months notice in relation to multiple cake orders, e.g. Wedding cakes. This is a) to allow the fruit cakes to mature and b) to create the items to adorn the cake. However, sometimes these times can be reduced depending on the current workload. The season and festivals will impact on the above.
Dates can be booked and cakes decided nearer the time for a non returnable deposit of £30.

Ordering your Cake:

On placing an order a deposit is required of £50 for cakes under £90, or 50% of the estimated cost of greater amounts. Some customers prefer to pay for their wedding cakes over several months. These instalments can be arranged to suit both of our requirements. E.g. Post dated cheques. The final payment must be made in full two weeks before the occasion.

Delivery or Collection:

This will be agreed during the consultation. The delivery fee is dependent on the distance involved. E.g. A local delivery is £15. A full setting up and display service can be arranged if required. A contact name for the venue must be provided.
